Where does the time go?

The first weeks of summer were a gleeful blur with the end of school, sunny frolics through farmers markets and festivals, and the chance to hit the open road.

My partner and I drove to Vermont to celebrate my 20th grad school reunion at SIT Graduate Institute. I'm still reflecting on the wonder of being in the Green Mountains again with their narrow, winding roads and lush green valleys. I was levitating when I walked into the campus dining hall and heard the voices of longtime friends and influential classmates.

We shared an afternoon of reconnection to one another and our collective memories. The stories were a beautiful reminder of the significant influence this educational space had (and continues to have) in our lives.

The SIT community stretched my 20'something worldviews and challenged me to my core. They also taught me how to creatively and intentionally play with new skills and perspectives. Back then, I was just starting to understand that interpersonal growth is a lifelong journey, not a final destination.

I realized on the drive back that many of the skills and passions I bring as a coach began on that hill. Unforgettable teachers and classmates made space for me to struggle and thrive, to create and find clarity, and to ask questions that I am still exploring. Coaching is a way for me to pay this generosity forward by creating the same kind of space for others.

May this summer bring you moments of connection and the realization of just how far you've come on your journey.

**Huge thanks to Hayley Carey who designed my new logo that launched today! She is highly skilled as a creative designer and also loves to talk about the wonder of PLAY.
